This years Kirklees primary science conference will bring together nationally recognised trainers and organisations with the aim of giving delegates activities, ideas and resources that will enable them to enhance creativity in science throughout the school.

The use of APP in science will enable teachers to, track pupils' progress from the begining of Key Stage 1 through to the end of Year 6 and use diagnostic information about pupils' strengths and weaknesses in order to create curricular targets

This course is for delegates who are new to or aspire to take on a leadership role in science. The aim of the course is to give delegates the skills and strategies to confidently lead a team to success.

There are many ways to introduce and deliver science inside and outside the classroom and this course aims to develop a range of skills to enthuse the children in science using the environment as a context. Delegates will look at different ways to deliver scientific enquiry and use ICT to enhance the children's experience. Organisation and management of a class during science will be considered, where risk assessments are required and how to make the most of the resources we have.
