About Us
The MIS (Management Information Systems) team is part of ITCAS (Information Technology Curriculum & Administrative Support Service) and is based at the Deighton Centre.
Our Work
The Management Information System (MIS) Team provides a support service for management information systems in schools within Kirklees. The aim of the MIS team is to improve standards in schools through the development and support of the schools' MIS systems. All schools in Kirklees are offered a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to support the use of ICT in school management.
Roles and responsibilities:
- to provide a telephone support service for software used in schools
- organise and deliver training on software packages for school staff
- provide consultancy visits to schools on a variety of software
- carry out site visits for support and upgrades as required
- run workshops and provide user groups
- provide pyramid training as requested
- provide documentation/instructions for the use of software
