It is essential that your Technician and / or Pupil Database System Administrator are aware of the guidance below:
The instructions below should be taken into consideration when you are changing / upgrading the office PC on which the Groupcall & Anycomms software is held. This would also include hard drive upgrades, formats, or changes in location of the datafile
The information in the instructions below need only be verified if you have taken advantage of the SQL2005 Upgrade and have subsequently disabled the SQL2000 server instance, or if you intend to do this in the future.
As a precautionary measure, prior to performing any SIMS upgrade, we advise that you should firstly stop the Groupcall Xporter Service, to ensure that this does not cause any detrimental problems during the upgrade process. Please see guidance below:
