Reporting and Analysis for Improvement through School Self-Evaluation
RAISEonline provides interactive analysis of school and pupil performance data. It replaces the Ofsted Performance and Assessment (PANDA) reports and DCSF's Pupil Achievement Tracker (PAT).
The Pupil Achievement Tracker (PAT) is no longer being updated with school data. As from the 2008 Spring term, Question Level analysis (QLA) data will be available within RAISEonline.
Question Level Analysis 2008
QLA templates for 2008 end of key stage tests are now available
Statutory 2008 National Curriculum test templates for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 are now available for uploading question level data into RAISEonline.
Schools can download these templates using the QLA template wizard after logging in. Local authorities can download blank versions by following the link Download QLA Templates in the Resources section of the RAISEonline login page.
School users need to be aware that, in order to download any 2008 template populated with a 2007/2008 cohort, the pupil details must first be loaded into RAISEonline using a Common Transfer File (CTF) generated by the school's management information system. Results data will not be uploaded if the system cannot match the results to a pupil already in RAISEonline.
This release includes links to copies of test papers for end of key stage and optional interim tests, available by clicking on question numbers in the data table on page 2 of any Mark Point report.
Schools which had a Key Stage 3 cohort in 2005, 2006 or 2007, will also find that the Key Stage 3 English item level data have been loaded on to the system. (Key Stage 3 English is the only subject for which item level data is collected centrally.) We have not been able to achieve a 100% match of data, so some schools may find they have pupil results that are not included. This can be checked by a school if they select a pupil list report from the QLA tab on the home page.
The 2008 Key Stage 3 item level data for English are planned for release later this year.
