Equality, Diversity and Community Cohesion Framework for Kirklees Schools
This new framework has been designed to help schools put the new equality legislation into practice. The duty to promote race equality currently requires schools to put an 'implementation plan' into place; the new disability duty will require schools to have a 'disability equality scheme'.
This new framework brings the new legislative requirements into one generic policy and strategy framework.
This new approach helps you avoid a patchwork quilt of equality policy dictated by the legislation and provides a simpler more workable framework that you can link to your mainstream planning.
This CD has been developed to equip you to deal with the new legislation in your school
