Effective Plenary

The recommended lesson structure includes an engaging starter as well as a concluding plenary. Effective lessons may, of course, include several cycles of main activity and plenary. There is flexibility in lesson structure to take account of the different timings and organisation needed in different parts of a topic, and structure should never stifle variety and creativity.
