Invitation to an ICT information event at Heckmondwike Grammar School
You are invited to a meeting at Heckmondwike Grammar school to find out about Vital, which is a new approach to ICT CPD. It is an innovative professional development programme which aims to support schools in England to make the most of ICT in their teaching.

Following the success of last year’s event you are invited to visit the ICT Showcase where pupils from Kirklees Schools, ranging from KS1 to KS3, are presenting an exhibition of innovative ICT activity.

Review your school eSafety practice
The 360ºsafe Self Review Tool has been developed by the South West Grid for Learning Trust, provides schools with the opportunity to review their e-Safety policies and practice.

Schools network maintenance work Friday 29 January - 6pm to 6.30pm
InTech will be upgrading the software on the schools core internet router at 6pm on Friday 29 January.

UK council for Child Internet Safety; the first UK Child Internet Safety Strategy. This is an extremely thorough document published by the government which sets out their strategy for keeping students safe online. It includes a wide range of plans to improve knowledge and understanding of the issues, including teaching in training, parents, Ofsted Inspectors and in Local Authority Children's Trusts.
