Narrowing the Gaps: Guidance for literacy subject leaders
The Booklet Narrowing the Gaps: Guidance for literacy subject leaders has been designed to aid the review of planning and better support Primary school colleagues in meeting the needs of all pupils in the class. It includes a section summarising in table form some of the characteristics of different vulnerable groups of learners, and what is known from research and practice about their strengths and areas of difficulty and how to explicitly plan to meet these needs.
