The Batley Carnival 4 life
The Batley Carnival 4 life is now online giving details of the dates and planned events. The Carnival's aim is to promote 'a positive health and lifestyle message, in a fun and entertaining way' and to encourage local people to make the most of their town's facilities. Soon to be added is the promotional movie shown at the recent Batley/Dewsbury network meeting, showing last year's carnival.

Learning Mentors - Good Practice

Learning Mentors are a strand of the Excellence in Cities (Excellence Clusters) programme in Kirklees. Learning Mentors are members of school staff whose role is to work with individual and groups of pupils who are experiencing barriers to learning, in order to give them the support they need to succeed in school.
