Teachers' Pay: Publication of Threshold guidance for Round 9
Revised guidance for teachers and headteachers and a model application form are now available for Round 9 of the Threshold pay award (2008/09).

Changes in the Public Information Unit
Over the summer, a new management team has been put in place. Cathy Rooney has been appointed as the Communications and Community Engagement Manager and Erin Herbert is the Public Information Unit Manager.

Kirklees Star Awards
The Kirklees Star Awards, a digital video and animation competition for Kirklees primary schools, ran from November 2007 until June 2008. A sparkling Oscars style awards evening was held on 8th July 2008 at the Castle Hill Suite, University of Huddersfield. The awards were attended by 120 people including the winning children, their teachers, parents, event sponsors, the Itcas team, Caroline Gruen, Head of Learning and Jim Dodds, Councillor for Learning. You can watch the winning and runner up videos, including a video of the awards evening online.
